Sam joined Rcapital in 2021, he supports the team with the origination and execution of new investment opportunities across the UK.
Sam joined from Retail Realisation LLP where he advised on over 25 restructuring transactions, primarily supporting insolvency practitioners, ABLs and credit funds. Prior to this he spent five years in the Restructuring team at EY, working on distressed corporate advisory, creditor advisory and insolvency mandates across the UK, Europe and Africa.
Sam has worked across a variety of sectors including Aerospace, Retail, Business Services, Construction, Manufacturing, Real Estate, Education and Shipping.
Sam lives in London and enjoys rugby, cricket, cycling, swimming and football – although is a pretty average sportsman which can be, in part, attributed to the fact that a disproportionate amount of his time outside of work is spent critiquing the quality of Guinness across the city and beyond.
