Rcapital acquire facilities management division of Richard Irvin

Rcapital has acquired the technical facilities management division of Scottish firm Richard Irvin.  The business is headquartered in Aberdeen, with a further five offices across Scotland, and employs 335 people.  The new business will be called Richard Irvin FM Limited.

The management team will work in partnership with Rcapital to restructure and invest in the business.  The firm has a number of public and private sector facilities management clients, including Scottish councils, for whom it provides maintenance and repair services on a 24/7 basis.

Rcapital was introduced to the business by Ernst & Young, with support on the transaction received from legal advisors Pinsent Masons. Ernst & Young were advised by Addleshaw Goddard, while legal advice to management was provided by Shakespeare Martineau.
