Heat Exchange Group wins series of international contracts

The supplier of the widest range of heat exchangers in the UK and Worldwide, Heat Exchange Group, has successfully won a further two contracts in Puerto Piray, Argentina and South Carolina, America. The news follows a recent contract win to redesign and supply two Undergate Airheaters in Queensland, Australia.

ARAUCO, a global manufacturer of forest products, operates a Steel H Economiser supplied by Heat Exchange Group heritage business, E. Green & Sons Limited, in 1980. Following 41 years of successful operation, the economiser is scheduled to be replaced in 2022 and the client returned to its trusted provider to carry out the works. The programme, with an estimated value of £172,000, includes minor modifications to bring up to date with current design standards, supply of materials, and manufacture of the unit complete with casing. The manufacturing will be completed by mid-February for dispatch to Misiones province in north-eastern Argentina.

Long-standing client, Boiler Tube of America (BTA), historically shared owners with Greens Power 40 years ago. Following a visit in 2019 to BTA, Greens has benefited from a regular flow of opportunities from the US market which led to a significant contract win of Woodland Biomass in 2021. In the last quarter of this year a future two orders have been placed for 120 double Steel H-fin tubes for a site near San Francisco and a replacement Economiser top bank for the US sugar plant based in Florida.

“We are extremely pleased with this series of international contract wins, our heat transfer products and solutions have global appeal thanks to their reputation for quality and longevity. At our Yorkshire-based factory we have combined and integrated the latest technologies to deliver the most comprehensive and sustainable heat exchangers with the capacity to distribute all over the globe.” Matthew Crewe, Managing Director, Heat Exchange Group.
