Independent Inspections Launch New Green Service
Independent Inspections has added nine new Ford Transit Custom vehicles to their fleet with five more planned in the coming months. Introducing these Hybrid-Inspection vehicles has streamlined the number of client visits required to inspect and restore damaged flooring. This enhanced resource, which can also facilitate repairs to ceramic tiles, laminate and wooden floors, is supported by a specialist triage team who look to identify restoration opportunities early in the claims process. In addition to the important environmental benefits, the new vehicles deliver a market-leading and highly efficient service for clients.
The new vehicles will be provided to a percentage of both the Inspector and Restoration field force teams replacing Inspector Ford CMax cars and Ford Transit vans. Historically, the Inspectors would arrive on site first and if hard surface repairs were required, they would schedule a follow up Restoration visit. This process has been streamlined by combining the two visits into one, minimizing disruption, reducing wasted miles, significantly reducing the cost of claims and creating a more efficient service for the insurers’ policyholders. Operational and financial savings from the new fleet will be reinvested into developing new and improved services that benefit insurers and policyholders alike.
Independent Inspections has built up a strong reputation for being on the forefront of technology within their industry. “These new vehicles set us apart from the competition, as we have always had industry leading technology in our business, but the ability to restore soft and hard flooring in a single visit is a step change for the sector” commented Stuart Pace, Independent Group – CEO.
“The ability to cover all eventualities on the first visit is a tremendous example of the progress that the business is experiencing and our customers really appreciate both the ease of doing business with us and also our ingenuity of delivering lower claims costs whilst increasing customer satisfaction” continued Stuart. The new vehicles have been in operation since mid-April with the next five scheduled in the coming months.
