Mark is an  independent financial consultant, working across the finance function, and often takes hands on roles embedded within businesses. Mark has worked across a range of sectors, primarily with SME’s who are owner managed or private equity backed.  One of Mark’s current roles is working within an RCapital portfolio business where he has helped unlock c. £500k of working capital benefit.

Mark specialises in working capital management, financial forecasting and financial due diligence, and adopts a commercial, practical approach supported by strong financial analysis, budgeting and scenario planning skills. Mark is used to working and delivering practical solutions in time pressured situations.

Mark’s background is as a Chartered Accountant, and prior to becoming an independent financial consultant has 15 years’ of experience working within large accountancy practices, most recently within the restructuring advisory team at BDO LLP.

The last ten years have been focused on working with businesses and management teams who were experiencing varying degrees of change, from rapid growth or expansion to showing signs of stress.
