Andy Dalton is an experienced financial consultant and turnaround specialist, who has joined Rcapital as an Operating Partner. Andy has built a reputation for his expertise in restructuring and turnaround strategies, particularly for companies facing complex situations.

Prior to his role at Rcapital, Andy was a Partner at BTG Advisory, where he advised companies at various levels facing financial stress. His work involved in-depth analysis of cash flows and forecasts, due diligence, and collaborating with boards to devise viable solutions, including debt/equity investment and accelerated sales.

His practical experience includes a broad range of turnaround and corporate finance assignments. These include financial and commercial due diligence, valuation work, Accelerated Mergers and Acquisitions (AMAs), corporate simplifications, and Independent Business Reviews (IBRs).

Andy’s extensive experience will support Rcapital’s portfolio companies, focusing on financial transformation and management team support. His role is crucial in driving the operational and financial restructuring efforts that underpin Rcapital’s investment strategies, ensuring sustainable growth and value creation for portfolio companies.

In his time away from work, Andy likes to spend time walking in the Derbyshire Dales and spending time with his family.
