Private investment and turnaround firm, Rcapital, was shortlisted four times across three categories, winning two awards at last night’s prestigious Institute for Turnaround award ceremony. The celebration provides those in the special situations, turnaround and insolvency industry an opportunity to reflect on the challenges faced and the businesses supported over the past year. Rcapital won ‘Special Situations Private Equity Provider’ for a second year and ‘Mid-Market Turnaround of the Year’ for the acquisition, turnaround and sale of Archant.
Additionally, Nick Alexander, chair of our portfolio company Trios Facilities Management Limited, was also shortlisted and won ‘Independent Advisor of the Year’.
Awards are chosen based on a rigorous peer-review process by a panel of industry experts. Judges are looking for evidence of a sustainable turnaround by delivering operational, financial and restructuring enhancements leading to the long-term recovery of a business.
