THE EVENT
First established in 2013, the Rcapital fun bike ride continues to grow in popularity with the investment and restructuring community. Cyclists ride in teams according to their experience which means that we are able to welcome all cycling abilities to enjoy the challenge.
The route takes riders 50 miles through the beautiful Cotswolds. For those who may not feel comfortable with the idea of a 50 mile ride, we will add a short cut. This will all be sign posted on the day.

THE DAY
On 28th September 2018, we welcome over 30 teams of cyclists to enjoy the Rcapital 50 mile fun bike ride, starting and finishing at The Cotswolds Hotel and Spa. Riders will be provided with a time chip, route map and all emergency details.
Riders will set off in their teams from 9.00am – please arrive 45 minutes before your start time. You will be notified of your start time a few weeks prior to the event.
The route is marked and at the 25-mile mark there is a halfway station. Please stop here so you can be checked off as having passed this point, and replenish your energy levels with food and drink. By 2pm all our cyclists will return to the hotel. There are changing and shower facilities where you can freshen up, but you need to bring your own towel. There are a limited number of lockers which can be operated with a £1 coin but we will also have a lock up room for any extra bags.
Should you be unable to complete the course, you can call our bus which will collect you and your bicycle and take you back to the venue to relax.
We will end the day with a barbecue and celebrate personal triumphs and winning teams.

HOW TO PREPARE
To ensure the ride is as fun as possible, especially for those less experienced cyclists, we suggest beginning to train and get your bike ready as soon as possible. Please make sure that your bike is serviced and fit for purpose. There will be a mechanic available on the day for emergencies, but they will not have the capacity to service bikes before the ride.
For more preparation and training information, please consult our guide.
