ARAUCO, a global manufacturer of forest products, operates a Steel H Economiser supplied by Heat Exchange Group heritage business, E. Green & Sons Limited, in 1980. Following 41 years of successful operation, the economiser is scheduled to be replaced in 2022 and the client returned to its trusted provider to carry out the works. The programme, with an estimated value of £172,000, includes minor modifications to bring up to date with current design standards, supply of materials, and manufacture of the unit complete with casing. The manufacturing will be completed by mid-February for dispatch to Misiones province in north-eastern Argentina.
Long-standing client, Boiler Tube of America (BTA), historically shared owners with Greens Power 40 years ago. Following a visit in 2019 to BTA, Greens has benefited from a regular flow of opportunities from the US market which led to a significant contract win of Woodland Biomass in 2021. In the last quarter of this year a future two orders have been placed for 120 double Steel H-fin tubes for a site near San Francisco and a replacement Economiser top bank for the US sugar plant based in Florida.
